Cooper Bussmann® cable limiters, specified two-to-one over competitive offerings, provide the largest range of copper and aluminum cable sizes and terminal options, including tubular terminals or tubular terminal with offset bolt-type terminal.

Cooper Bussmann cable limiters provide superior protection against short-circuit currents in low voltage distribution networks whether applied to service entrance cables in residential and light commercial applications up to 250Vac as well as utility or commercial and industrial applications up to 600Vac.

In single or multi-cable per phase applications, Cooper Bussmann cable limiters can provide current limiting short-circuit protection by confining damage to the point of the short-circuit and stopping long-length cable burn-back. Service continuity is improved in multi-cable per phase service entrance or grid network applications as cable limiters provide a means to isolate faulted cables and eliminate multiple arcs.
