Cooper Bussmann Expands Quik-Ship Program for New Quik-Spec® Coordination Panelboard & Elevator Disconnect Panel
Now available within 10 business days.

Cooper Bussmann has expanded its Quik-Ship offering within its Quik-Spec™ Family of electrical distribution panelboards and elevator disconnects. Both the newly released Quik-Spec Coordination Panelboard and Power Module™ Panel for multiple elevator applications are now available for shipment within 10 business days from order acceptance. These new offerings are additions to the company’s highly successful Quik-Ship program for the Power Module Switch (single elevator applications) launched in April 2008.
The Cooper Bussmann® Quik-Spec Coordination Panelboard is guaranteed shipment within 10 business days on all NEMA 1 enclosure configurations, regardless of bus ampacity, panel voltage, short-circuit current rating, main configuration or branch layout. This new standard for fusible panelboards simplifies selective coordination in a fully fused electrical system and offers flexible configurations, increased safety and easier specification, all in the same footprint as conventional circuit breaker panelboard designs. It is particularly well suited for use in electrical systems that must comply with the new Code requirements for Emergency, Legally Required Standby, Healthcare Essential Electrical and Critical Operation Power Systems (COPS) per 700.27, 701.18, 517.26 and 708.54 or for electrical systems with high available short-circuit currents in compliance per 110.9 and 110.10.
The Cooper Bussmann Quik-Spec Power Module Panel is also guaranteed shipment within 10 business days on 400, 600 and 800 amp NEMA 1 versions regardless of quantity, relay type (AC or DC), or accessory option – key to test, pilot light or voltage monitoring relay. This all-in-one solution for elevator disconnect requirements provides shunt-trip capability, selective coordination and fire safety signal interface, and is UL 98 Listed for a 200kA short-circuit current rating.
The 3-day Quik-Ship service continues with five Quik-Spec Power Module Switch configurations featuring the most popular features in models, ranging from 60A/480V to 200A/208V or 480V.
"As a proven leader in Downtime Reduction, Workplace Safety, and Code Compliance products and services, the expanded Quik-Ship Program is another example of how Cooper Bussmann helps customers and specifiers meet tight schedules,” said Kevin Hug, Cooper Bussmann senior product manager. “The Quik-Spec Coordination Panelboard and the all-in-one elevator disconnect Quik-Spec Power Module were introduced to help meet complex Code requirements. Now, with our new Quik-Ship program we can offer the fastest and most efficient solution for taking care of these requirements."
